Fall is my favorite season of the year by far, but sadly it’s usually cut short by winter. Snow has already begun to fall here and the leaves are all but gone from the trees. Before fall gives way to winter my husband and I drove around our hometown enjoying the scenery and taking pictures.

I typically don’t wear florals this time of year, but darker florals like this black Express dress (similar here, and here) have changed my mind. I purchased this $15 dress recently from Gordmans, my new favorite place to find Express clothing at a huge discount!

This black & gold G belt (original here) goes with just about anything! I’ve been wearing it non stop (last seen here and here), so I hope you’re not tired of seeing it yet. If you don’t already own one I would highly recommend adding one to your wardrobe. It really helps to elevate even the most basic of outfits.

I’m loving animal prints this season, so I was excited to find this BCBG snakeskin bag (black version here) at my local Gordmans. I like to think of animal prints as neutrals making them easy to wear. Love the way this black and red snakeskin bag matches this black and red floral dress.
