Since last year I’ve really been gravitating towards matching sets with everything from lounge wear to formal wear. I have everything from matching sweatshirts and pants sets to skirts and top sets. Recently, I just added this suit to my ever growing matching set collection. Today I wanted to share why I love matching sets so much, and several ways you can mix and match them for multiple outfits.

Mix & Match Blazers
Blazers have been trendy for years now, so it goes without saying how easy they are to mix and match with other pieces. I love dressing blazers up like I did here, and more often than not you’ll find me dressing them down. I’ve worn them with everything from jeans, to biker shorts, to vintage tees. You can never have too many blazers and the style options are endless!
Depending on your matching set try layering the top (or blazer) with other pieces in your closet like jeans, shorts, leggings, skirts, and even try layering it over a dress.
Mix & Match Pants
When it comes to mixing and matching pants from a matching set try wearing them with a basic t-shirt. I wore my high waisted dress pants with this black t-shirt bodysuit. The basic black bodysuit goes with anything and also shows off the high waistline on these pants.
Other pieces to try with the bottoms from your matching set include: sweaters, blouses, tank tops, cardigans, and camis.
Where To Find Matching Sets
Matching sets feel so fresh and I can’t get enough of them! I own a few lounge wear sets that came together, but if you want to make your own matching set, just look for pieces in the same color from the same store. This blazer I got from Express and I also purchased the dress pants in the same color to make my own set. Express also has a skirt and a pair of joggers in this exact same color too that would look great together.
A Few Lounge Wear Sets Perfect For Mixing & Matching
I love my lounge wear sets too! They are an inexpensive way to get started on this trend and they’re multiple ways to wear them and places you can wear them to. I like to wear my lounge wear sets around the house, to run errands, walk my dog, and even to work out in. I have this set, last seen here and this set, last seen here. Below are a few lounge wear sets that come together for easy pairing.
