Wayfair: Which area of your home are you most focused on updating or sprucing up for the summer season and why?
Cassie: My back patio! I’m currently working on a comfy outdoor space so I can enjoy the warmer weather all summer long.
Wayfair: Which color palettes are speaking to you this season?
Cassie: For summer I’m obsessed with white! White cushions are perfect for outdoor furniture since they won’t fade in the sunlight. Plus, they keep everything looking fresh.
Wayfair: Are there any home design trends that you are really loving right now?
Cassie: Right now I’m loving all the outdoor furniture sets I’m seeing. When it comes to furniture in the house I love to mix and match, but for outdoor spaces it’s trendy to have a matching set. A matching outdoor set helps keeps things simple and places the focus on nature.
Wayfair: Which activities are you most looking forward to this summer?
Cassie: I’m looking forward to spending as much time as possible outside. From bike rides, to dog walks, to lazy afternoons spent in our backyard.
