It’s been just over a year since we moved into our new home, and since then I’ve had so much fun decorating our new place! With our home being brand new, the only home projects we’ve had to tackle so far are putting some finishing touches on each space. Keep reading for a look inside our new master bathroom!
Towels, Tray, Soap Dispensers, and Faux Plants from Wayfair
1. New Towels
Updating the towels makes for an easy bathroom refresh! The towels we were using were gifts from our wedding from over 14 years ago! Those towels had not only seen better days, but the color beige was all wrong for this space. The walls in our master bathroom are gray and all the hardware is black. There’s also white subway tile in the shower with dark gray grout. To match the master bathroom I decided to go with some fresh new gray towels from Wayfair. They’re so soft and fluffy, they hide any makeup stains, and they always come out of the wash looking fresh and fluffy! Super happy with these towels and the color.
2. Decorative Bathroom Tray
Having some extra counter space makes a great spot for a bathroom tray. It’s not only pretty to look at, but It’s been so handy keeping our countertops free from clutter. Anything that gets left out on the counters I just toss it in the basket for easy access later.
Right now I have a ring dish in there that holds all my everyday jewelry, as well as a faux plant, and reusable makeup wipes.
3. Refillable Soap Dispensers
Having a refillable soap dispenser is so handy and can really help to elevate the space. I love buying my soap in bulk now, and the amber color hides the soap color which is handy if you need to refill them with a new color of soap! In the photo below the bottle on the left is filled with blue soap, and the bottle on the right is filled with clear soap. These matching soap dispensers keep our bathroom looking uniformed, and the stainless steel pump is a really nice upgrade from the typical plastic ones. These vintage inspired amber soap dispensers are also great for other rooms in the house. I just bought another set for our kitchen.
4. Plants
Plants add so much life and warmth to a bathroom. If your bathroom is like mine and doesn’t have any natural light, then faux plants are the way to go! I found this little faux eucalyptus plant from Wayfair that comes in a set of 3 and it’s the perfect size to sit on our countertops. I placed one in this round tray to keep everything on the countertop corralled and organized. I placed the other two plants in different locations throughout our house.
