With fall less than 5 weeks away I’m already thinking about all the layered looks I’ll be wearing like this chic white monochrome outfit. No matter the season you can bet I’ll be wearing white.

Mix In Different Shades & Textures
If you’re unsure about wearing white after Labor Day try wearing a monochrome outfit. Don’t be afraid to layer in different shades and textures of white for added interest and dimension. Think about including chunky knits, denim, cotton, linen, silk, etc. And when it comes to color, they don’t need to match exactly all shades of white will work!
White Jeans
White jeans look great all year long, but some of my favorite times to wear them are in the cooler months. Try wearing a pair of white distressed jeans with a white oversized sweater for a cozy look this fall.
White Blazer
White blazers are so easy to wear all summer long. See where I styled one with shorts here. I plan to transition this white blazer into fall with my white distressed jeans as a monochrome look. This boyfriend blazer also has a nice oversized shape perfect for layering over a white sweater come fall in place of a jacket.
Padded Shoulder Top
I couldn’t help but pick up one of these sleeveless padded tops I’ve seen everywhere this summer. I love how the structure in the shoulders makes this basic tee extra special. It’s perfect to wear alone or under blazers and jackets.
Skin Tone Accessories
When it comes to making a white monochrome outfit chic try layering in a few skin tone accessories with it. I love mixing in a pair of pale pink sandals that perfectly match my skin tone as well as a blush colored handbag for a subtle bit of color. This fall I imagine wearing a pair of light cream ankle boots with this outfit.
When all else fails monochrome outfits are so easy to throw together. I love how focusing on one color elevates the entire outfit yet makes it look effortless and chic at the same time.
