Happy Halloween from a couple of drifters! Any guesses on who we are? Read on to find out.
I’ve always loved dressing up for Halloween as a couple (but we only have one time in all our 10 years of marriage!), so when Nathan suggested going as the main characters from Two For The Road (one of our favorite movies) I jumped on his offer. I’ve always been a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn thanks to her timeless sense of style and her iconic movies like Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
The movie Two For The Road became one of our favorites thanks to its unique story line. The story doesn’t end when they fall in love, but shows what happens after. The movie bounces back and fourth from when they first met, to newlyweds, to parents, from young and broke to older and well established. Also the fashion in this movie is is so amazing! Audrey’s character goes through a wide range of clothing and hair style changes that are so fun to watch.
We decided to recreate a few scenes from when they first met on the road.
This part of the movie cracks me up mainly because Nathan takes my picture all the time! Joanna (Audrey Hepburn) thinks Mark (Albert Finney) is wanting to take a picture of her, but really he’s just trying to capture the scenery.
So thankful Nathan has been willing to take pictures of me all these years!
Another reason to like this costume is it comes with snacks!
