Maybe it’s because of all the kids going back to school, but recently I’ve had backpacks on my mind. A few weeks ago I was shopping Bergners going out of business sale when I came across this Kenneth Cole Reaction backpack. Some of you may have noticed how much I love carrying this backpack that I’ve worn several times before here, here, and here, so I couldn’t resist picking up another backpack at a heavily discounted price. 

When deciding on what to pair with my new dark green backpack I chose to stick to neutrals to let its color shine. I love the faux pebbled leather, the zipper opening at the top, and the shape of this backpack reminds me of a paper sack. Plus, I love how nicely it lays against my back. Currently my favorite style of jeans to wear are boyfriend jeans and this distressed white pair is not only perfect for summer, but they will transition nicely into fall when paired with a cozy sweater and ankle boots. The overside loose fit of this linen tank top makes it perfect for tucking into pants (like I did here) or tying the bottom in a knot. Linen is one of my favorite fabrics to wear in the summer to stay cool while still looking pulled together.
