If you would have told me a few years ago fanny packs a.k.a belt bags would come back in style I wouldn’t have believed you. Not only are they back (just about all 90’s trends are), but I’m loving this trend once again.
Mother’s Day was yesterday, so I wanted to wear something a little more feminine and floral than I normally do to church. I chose this open front kimono that I layered over an off-the-shoulder dress (last seen here). The belt bag helped cinch everything together, plus it gave my outfit that little bit of hardness I was looking for. Instead of a kimono this look could easily be recreated with a cardigan, blazer, or even a coat.
