I love simple combinations like t-shirts paired with skirts. To show off the high waistline of this skirt I tucked my shirt in, paired my look with flats (usually skirts above the knee look better with flats, and skirts below the knee look better with heels), and added in a bright purse for a pop of color. I reach for this purse surprisingly quite often, despite its crazy bright color.

Last weekend was spent hiking all over Starved Rock State Park, so this weekend we took it easy and stayed close to home. Nathan and I bought our first grill, so now we’re just waiting on our grill accessories to arrive from Amazon and we’ll be ready to cook all summer long. Can’t believe the first day of Summer is tomorrow!
