Warby Parker Fall 2016 Collection

Chicago IL location

I’m excited to help announce today’s launch of Warby Parker’s Fall 2016 collection! The folks at Warby Parker were kind enough to give me an inside look and I would like to share a few of my favorites with you.

If you’re unfamiliar with Warby Parker they are a glasses company that design their own glasses in-house to essentially give you the “wholesale” price. Their stores are not only stocked with beautiful glasses & sunglasses, but books as well. Also for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.

First up and personally my favorite is their Mixed Materials collection. This collection features rounded frames with metal accents plated in 18-karat white gold or 24-karat gold.

On Him: Moriarty in Jet Black (plated in white gold) / On Her: Tansley in Jet Black (plated in gold)

Not sure what it is, but for me black & gold paired together is such a winning combination. It makes the item (whatever it happens to be) so versatile. The gold bridge on these glasses add just enough glam for a very chic yet classic look.

Hadley in Violet Magnolia (plated in gold)

This season also features a beautiful Fall Palette collection showcasing classic frames in shades reminiscent of fall.

On Him: Percey in Scarlet Tortoise / On Her: Casey in Melon

Nothing could be more classic and feminine than a pair of cat-eye glasses in a tortoiseshell shade. I just love the twist on these, with a hint of violet that would pair nicely with blue or brown eyes.

And lastly, I would love to introduce you to their Basso Fall collection. A signature of Warby Parker where they join two layers of acetate together and then carve away part of the top layer to show what’s underneath.

The Basso collection (carved away look) is something I’ve never seen before, but can easily see why it’s become their signature look. I love the tortoise outline on these glasses giving them a delicately framed cat-eye look. Blue and brown are another winning combination and this Bermuda Blue is such a lovely light and airy blue.

My Mother’s Day started at 4am with a nursing baby My Mother’s Day started at 4am with a nursing baby in my arms, a toddler crawling into my bed and falling asleep on my shoulder, & a doggie sleeping across my legs. 💕 They have no idea what today is, but I’m feeling so blessed to be surrounded by all my babies on Mother’s Day 👶🐶👧 Even if it was at 4am 🥱

Not pictured our dog Sydney. 🐶 I’m so tired I didn’t even notice until after we got these pictures 🤪 I knew I was forgetting something! 🙈

So thankful my SIL @thedivinemissem77 answered her phone and came quickly to stay with Audrey & my hubby @npbrady9 taking care of everything else as we rushed to the hospital. ♥️ God is so good & we couldn’t be happier with the newest member of our family 🤗
