Since winter weather always seems to linger here in the Midwest having a new coat helps make the wait for spring a little more bearable. To me nothing’s worse than having to wear the same coat day after day from fall until early spring.

In order to grow my coat collection I typically purchase one or two new coats each year. Even though winter’s (hopefully) coming to an end now’s a great time to take advantage of sales and purchase a coat that you can not only wear now, but you’ll be thankful to have come next winter.

Teddy Coat
I purchased this teddy coat on sale during Black Friday & thankfully it’s on sale again now (for under $110)! Besides Black, and Butterscotch this coat also comes in Ice Blue which would be so pretty to wear now as we transition into spring.
Bobby Pins
Just a few weeks ago I said I couldn’t get on board with the whole bobby pin trend. Recently my Pinterest account kept getting flooded with so many unique styles I had to give it another chance! So far I’ve discovered I love making 3 X’s on one side of my head (as seen in this post), wearing a bobby pin or two above each ear (like I did here), or a handful of bobby pins above just one ear.
Bucket Bag
I can’t get enough of Modmopolitan’s unique but minimal bags! This one is by far my favorite and it’s on sale for less than $40. I can’t wait to wear it with maxi dresses this summer.
