It’s time for another monthly outfit blog post! Today I’m sharing several of the spring outfits I wore during the month of May.
Friday, May 1st
On Friday evening after work Nathan and I drove downtown to photograph some outfits for En Route Fashion Boutique. Saturday, MayY 2nd
On Saturdays I go grocery shopping with my sister. Then later that day Nathan and I decided to pick up some lunch from Chick-fil-A. It was the first time we went out to eat in over a month! We decided to treat ourselves by picking up some lunch and taking our dog for a car ride.

Wednesday, May 6th
Today Nathan and I went shopping at Prairie Gardens to find some hanging baskets for our home and our moms for Mother’s Day. We came home with two floral baskets, and two ferns for our house & for our moms.

Sunday, May 10th

Thursday, May 14th
Just a romper that I wore around the house and to take Sydney on a dog walk. Love how it looks layering it with a denim jacket.

FRIDAY, MAY 15TH
I just got this top in the mail from Amazon and I couldn’t wait to wear it. Love the puffy sleeves. It fits tight like a body suit perfect for tucking into a pair of high waisted jeans.

Saturday, May 16th
On Saturday Nathan and I went to my nephews house for his High School graduation party. Thanks to Covid-19 only a few people were invited.

I just got this dress in the mail and I had to wear it right away. Love how it looks with sneakers.

Saturday, May 23rd
I wore this white maxi dress for a cookout at Nathan’s parents house for Memorial Day Weekend. It was nice to spend some time with them since we haven’t seen them since sheltering in place started.

Monday, May 25th
For memorial day Nathan and I went to a park to walk our dog and relax outside. That evening we went out again for another dog walk and I changed into these biker shorts since I got a stain on the white dress I wore earlier that day. Thankfully it came right out!

Saturday, May 30th
On Saturday Nathan and I went out to eat at El Toro. Restaurants can be open now here in IL as long as they seat guests outside, and since we love eating outside anyway this works out perfect for us! Afterwards we went to Prairie Gardens to look at plants. We’re landscaping our front yard and I’m trying to figure out what to plant along the front of our house. Right now I’m thinking boxwoods and hydrangeas.

Saturday, May 30th
I decided to wear my favorite wide leg jeans for my weekly grocery shopping trip with my sister. I used to hate grocery shopping until we started shopping together at the beginning of March. Now I look forward to it every week.
