Recently I’ve been seeing button front dresses everywhere I look, anyone else feel the same? They’ve won the hearts of so many thanks to their charming top to bottom button front detail that instantly dresses up an otherwise basic summer dress.
Button front dresses look great layered over a t-shirt (for a 90’s vibe last seen here), alone, or layered under a sweater, jacket, or even under a blouse like I’ve styled here. Since this dress is half linen it pairs so nicely with this J.Jill linen top.
Linen is another huge trend this season thanks to its relaxed lived in vibe all while still looking pulled together and chic at the same time.My husband gave me this pendent necklace for our first wedding anniversary way back in 2009, so I haven’t been able to track down the listing on Etsy, but I did find a few similar options here and here. A pendent necklace worn alone or layered (like I’ve done before here) is a great way to not only to customize your look and show off something personal/meaningful, but it works great for every day wear as well. You can also find my three rings here, here and here.
I love wearing these oversized pink mirrored, frameless, sunglasses in the summer! They’re such a fun update to the typical neutral pairs I wear and for less than $4 they’re not a big financial commitment.
Also for all my Instagram lovers out there I created my first IGTV (Instagram TV) video where I showcased this outfit in video form. You can see the 1.5 minuet video here and I would love to hear if you think I should make this a recurring feature on my blog/Instagram.
Outfit Details: J.Jill Top, Urban Outfitters Dress (similar here, last seen here), Zaful Sunglasses c/o, Etsy Necklace (similar here), ToGoGo Fashion Purse from Prairie Gardens (similar here), Dolce Vita Shoes from T.J.Maxx (similar here and here)
