I’m always compelled to mix up my current wardrobe with the start of each new season. Recently, I’ve started trading in my form fitting leggings and skinny jeans for more relaxed, loose fitting dress pants.
Outfit Details: H&M Sweater (on sale! Last seen here), Gap Pants (similar here), Dialogue Coat (similar here), Kate Spade Earrings, Mellow World Purse, Amazon Belt, Express Boots (similar here, & here) c/o Gordmans
These dress pants are such a great staple for any spring wardrobe. Their relaxed fit, cropped length, and navy color make them perfect to pair with just about anything.
I gave these dress pants a fresh look by paring them with a few of my favorite winter pieces: an oversized sweater, houndstooth coat, and ankle boots.
Below I’ve featured several dress pants that would look great paired with oversized sweaters, simple t-shirts, and camis this spring. A super simple, yet chic way to style a classic work wear piece!
Dress Pants
I ended up cuffing the bottom of my dress pants one time so they would just touch the top of my ankle boots. I love the combination of ankle boots and cropped pants together, it’s a look we’ll be seeing lots more of this spring. You can also try this look with cropped or cuffed jeans like I did last week here.
Chain Strap Purse
This chain strap purse is great since it can be worn over the shoulder or as a crossbody. You can find several other color options besides blue here and on Amazon here.
Bobby Pins
Have you tried wearing bobby pins yet?? Bobby pins have quickly become my go-to way of styling my hair since they’re so simple to use. Just pin back a section of hair on one, or both sides of your head with a handful on bobby pins and you’re good to go.
