Since it rains a lot this time of year I thought I would share what I like to wear when it’s raining.

Below I’ve featured 4 tips to help me stay comfortable and dry this time of year.
Beachy Waves
I find it hard to keep my hair straight on rainy days, so instead of fighting against the rain I try to work with it by creating relaxed beacy waves. Sea salt spray works best on damp hair, and since it was a rainy day with lots of moisture in the air already I skipped that step of adding moisture to my hair and went on to step two. First, I started by spraying sea salt evenly allover my hair and roots too for added volume. Next, I curled all my hair with a wand (similar wand here) by separating my hair into around one inch sections and wrapping them around the wand. Rain Boots
Every time it rains I immediately reach for my Hunter rain boots. I’ve been wearing these for over a year now (seen here, here, & here) in both rain and snow and they still look like new. Not only do they pair well with jeans and leggings, but skirts and dresses look great with them too!
T-Shirt Dress
T-shirt dresses (similar here, and here) are another rainy day favorite of mine! They are so comfortable to wear in the spring & summer, plus they look great dressed up with heels or down with sandals or sneakers.
Oversized Blazer
Without a doubt jackets are defiantly a staple on a rainy day! I wanted to try something different since it rains a lot this time of year and wearing the same rain jacket over and over again can get a little boring. This oversized blazer not only kept my t-shirt dress dry, but it also added to the 90’s laid back vibe that I was going for. I love thinking outside the box and just because you don’t have a closet full of rain coats doesn’t mean you have to wear the same thing over and over again. Try switching it up by substituting your every day rain coat with a blazer, motorcycle jacket, or even a denim jacket. Just make sure to bring an umbrella if the rain is really coming down.
