I think we’re all aware of the ever-growing popularity of activewear and this trend doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon! Not just for working out, activewear is great to wear while running errands, and my personal favorite lounging around the house.
Since activewear can be so expensive I would only buy pieces here and there when I came across a good sale, that is until I discovered Gordmans huge selection of activewear at unbelievable prices. No item I’m wearing here costs more than $20 including my shoes! I spent just under $91 for everything featured in this blog post and I love how Gordmans carries all my favorite activewear brands like Nike, Reebok, and Adidas just to name a few.
Read on to see the two looks I put together, why I chose them, as well as a price break down on everything I purchased.
Look 1: Reebok Tank Top (13.99) & Jacket (6.98), Vogo Leggings (10.98), Puma Sports Bra (12.99), U.S. Polo Assn. Sneakers (19.99) c/o Gordmans
When it comes to activewear yoga pants have always been my go to piece. They’re like the athletic version of skinny jeans (my favorites) making them so easy to wear. I love the dark black/gray color of these yoga pants and how they have a see-through mesh panel on the sides highlighted by two green panels.
When I first saw these yoga pants I thought the different colored side panels would make it difficult to match with anything, but I love how they look paired with the gold detailing on this Reebok jacket. I always like to keep a jacket close by since I get cold easily, and this jacket is so lightweight it’s perfect to throw on even during warmer months.
Lastly, I loved how this gray and white tank top looks with these gray and white U.S. Polo Assn. sneakers. Having a nice pair of sneakers finishes off any great athletic look, and I can hardly believe they were less than $20! I love them!
Look 2: Nike Tank Top (12.99), Daisy Fuentes Joggers (12.99), Puma Sports Bra (12.99 same as in 1st look), U.S. Polo Assn. Sneakers (19.99 same as in first look) c/o Gordmans
For my second look I changed out my tank top for this loose fitting Nike tank (I’m wearing a size xs) that really shows off the thick crisscross strap detail on this Puma sports bra, and I exchanged my yoga pants for these loose fitting joggers.
I’ve always wanted a pair of joggers and these Daisy Fuentes ones are so comfy! I love how their extra high waisted (they can be worn low on the waist too), have large pockets in the front, and fit loose everywhere except the stretchy band at the end of the pant legs making them perfect to scrunch up towards the knees for an even baggier look.
The tank tops in both looks are extra long making them great to half tuck (by tucking in just the front like I did here), tie the front in a side knot, or leave them loose and untucked to cover more of the thigh area.
Also don’t forget to head to your local Gordmans for their anniversary event on July 21st in all stores for big deals, big surprises, and big rewards!
